Cameron McNeill, Principal, Mac Marketing Solutions
Cameron McNeill is the founder of MAC Marketing Solutions, a group providing professional services to the residential real estate development industry throughout western Canada. Over the last 18 years, Cameron has focused solely on marketing-related services in the field of residential development and has garnered over 100 sales and marketing awards. Cameron is married to another Top Forty Under 40 recipient, Sarah McNeill, and is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
David Helliwell, CEO, Pulse Energy
Pulse Energy is led by its co-founder, David Helliwell, whose career has spanned three continents. David has been a poorly-paid professional windsurfer, an exploration geophysicist, a Paris-based management consultant to large multinational organizations, and a senior policy advisor for three years to a cabinet minister in the Canadian federal government. While with the Canadian government, David was responsible for reducing costs and improving the environmental performance of 700 million square feet of office space across the country.
Douglas Tronsgard, CEO, Next Level Games
Originally hailing from the financial sector, Douglas Tronsgard co-founded Next Level Games Inc. in 2002. The award-winning video game third-party development company has released six titles and is best known for being one of the rare North American companies to work directly with Nintendo of Japan. Douglas was twice nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was named one of BIV’s Top Forty Under 40 in 2007.
Jennifer Wong, COO, Aritzia
This November marks Jennifer Wong’s 22nd year of service with Aritzia LP. Beginning her career as a Retail Sales Associate, Jennifer worked at Aritzia while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Economics at UBC. Having managed various areas of Aritzia’s business throughout the years, Jennifer was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2007 and was acting CFO until July 2008. Jennifer’s leadership has played an integral part in Aritzia’s exponential growth and expansion in both Canada and the USA.
Lori Braha, President, WA-2
For Lori Braha, it began as an MBA internship project with the Bailey Group. But the business plan she wrote up for WA-2! Water Co. quickly turned into a viable business, becoming the fastest growing water filtration company in Canada. Eight years later, Lori continues to foster a unique corporate culture at WA-2!, focusing on personal growth and leadership. This has led the Bailey Group to receive an award for Best Companies To Work For from BC Business in 2007.

Mike has spent the past 17 years transforming businesses. At ViRTUS, Mike and his team provide innovative consulting services across the full spectrum of organizational development, helping their clients to create viable, long-term solutions. Mike shares his expertise through his blog at mikedesjardins.com and in a monthly column in the Business in Vancouver newspaper. In 2002, Mike was invited to join the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and was President of the Vancouver Chapter from 2007 to 2008.
Noel Golden, Partner of Borden Ladner Gervais, Past President and Chair of Ballet BC
Noel Golden is a partner in the Vancouver office of Canada’s largest law firm, Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. He draws on many years of broad commercial experience to advise on all aspects of the firm’s business succession, wealth management, and wills, trusts and estate planning practice. Among other endeavours, Noel was appointed to the Professional Advisory Committee of the Business Families Centre at the Sauder School of Business. He is also an avid supporter of the arts in his community.
Raymond To, Founder and Managing Partner, GO Recruitment
Raymond has been offering recruting services and HR consulting to technology companies since 1992. In 2002 he founded GO Recruitment, changing the way companies engaged recruiters. His success in his field earned him the recognition as one of Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40 winners in 2006. In the community Raymond is involved as a partner of BC Social Venture Partners and lends his HR expertise to the international non-profit organization, Dress for Success.
René David, Principal of Westmana Development
René David co-founded Westmana Development Corp more than a decade ago following a successful career with VanCity Enterprises. Backed by over 15 years of development experience, René leads with a vision for development which incorporates socially responsible and environmentally conscious building principles. He serves as a member of several community organizations, including the Lionsview Seniors Housing Advisory Committee, the St. James Community Services Society and, in preparation for the 2010 Winter Olympics, the False Creek Stewardship Planning Committee.
Cybele Negris, Co-Founder and COO, Webnames.ca
Cybele Negris is co-founder of Webnames.ca, Canada’s original domain registrar, and co-founder of Construction By Design, an award-winning company specializing in high-end commercial & residential construction. She has been the recipient of several awards including PROFIT W100’s Canada’s Top Women Entrepreneurs for six years running and Finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Pacific award in 2005. Cybele serves as a director on several boards and was the past President of Wired Woman Vancouver.
Toby Barazzuol, Founder and President, Eclipse Awards
Toby Barazzuol is the founding president of Eclipse Awards, a maker of personalized recognition awards. In 2008 Eclipse Awards was selected by DELL as one of Canada’s top 10 small businesses to creatively use technology. Community-minded and with a focus on sustainability, Toby contributes his time to growing a collaborative community of sustainable businesses in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
